I Vote Stomp To Be The Next UK Dustmen!

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

Who Knew rubbish and dustbin lids could be exciting, well Stomp certainly proved us wrong. A clever cast of energetic bodies throw themselves around the stage tunefully playing everyday objects.
With no speech, no dialogue and no plot, the cast of Stomp do well to capture the audiences attention with their ‘trash’ symphony”. Like the contents of a rubbish bag, it’s a mix of stuff - music, dance, choreography and performance art, but unlike rubbish it doesn’t stink, it’s a well produced piece of art and well worth a watch.
A dynamic, fast paced, physical extravaganza which is fun for all the family, it’s pure stage magic.
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself picking up a wooden spoon, or a dustbin lid and tapping away to a tune after seeing this show, taking the bins out will never be the same again.

Now if only dustbin men could be as tuneful in the morning!
