I wonder whether John Barrowman had anything to do with this? His fellow Torchwood star Burn Gorman has been lined up to play Bill Sikes in Cameron Mackintosh’s revival of Oliver! After Danny Dyer (the other possible Bill Sikes) blasted the show and the Nancys in his ever so tactful manner, Gorman is in with a strong chance of getting the role and terrorising the successful Nancy and Oliver on stage.
Gorman’s Torchwood character Owen Harper is actually quite similar Bill Sikes, Harper fans will know that he is seductive, narcissistic, a womaniser and quite a dark character. So playing mean old Bill Sikes should be a walk in the park for old Gorman.

No official announcement has been made or castings called, but we say watch this space and keep your eye on Burn Gorman!
