The First I’d Do Anything

March 17th, 2008 by Laura West

The show we’ve all been waiting for has finally begun, last Saturday the first I’d Do Anything aired on BBC1 and boy did they cover a lot of ground in one episode. We saw all the auditions, the London call backs and the final cut for Nancy School all in on one hour - PLUS we were introduced to some hopeful Olivers as well. Despite the whistle stop tour around the country, the show was jam packed with funny moments, good singers, bad singers and a whole lot of Nancy wannabes uttering the immortal words “this is what I’ve been waiting for my whole life - I am Nancy”

So 42 women were chosen by John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and David Grindrod at London call backs to go on to compete at Nancy School, some of their choices however were a bit peculiar - all we can say is watch out for Jodie Prenger, wow wee she is a strange one! If you are eager to see all the Nancy School finalists then log on and visit the I’d Do Anything site to see the full list.

This Saturday we get to meet the final twelve Olivers and if last Saturday’s Olivers were anything to go by, expect to see a range of THE cutest young urchins you’ve ever seen in your life singing their hearts out. Here are the highlights of the show just incase you missed them, which many of you may have done being St Partick’s day n’all!
