Sneaky Peek at I’d Do Anything

February 15th, 2008 by Laura West

Good news! The BBC have updated the I’d Do Anything website and for those of you who are as impatient as the Show and Stay team - you can have a right good nose about and see what’s been going on.

To my delight there are few clips to watch on the site, there are two Nancy auditions in which the first woman has “theatre face” (going through several emotions in a short amount of time) and the second woman starts to cry - I can’t work out if she is being bullied by the man shouting at her or she’s just into the song.

Each week day they’ll be posting new Nancy auditions up on the site - I can only hope they get worse and worse for our viewing pleasure (with a few good ones thrown in at least!). The site also features some vox pops of auditionees and theatregoers describing Nancy’s character, to which they believe her to be a fiesty, sexy, nurturing mother - hmm mixed bag of description there. Watch out for little and large who obviously just stumbled out of the local chippie and must of ended up at the audition when looking for a park bench to scoff their chips.

So the ball has officially started rolling and the Oliver train is in motion, keep checking back for more news and info on this exciting show!
