Celeb’s Would Like to Teach the World to Sing
February 19th, 2008 by Laura WestFor one night only over 50 celebrities from the screen and stage will pay tribute to the life and achievements of vocal coach Ian Adam. This legendary vocal coach is the mastermind behind the talents of Lulu, Sting, Boy George, Michael Ball, Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.
The event entitled “I’d Like To Teach The World to sing” will take place on Sunday 24th February 2008 at Her Majesty’s Theatre. All proceeds from the event will go towards Singing for Breathing, a project that aims to help patients with respiratory problems at Royal Brompton Hospital, where Ian was treated for many years.

- Andrew Lloyd Webber and Julian Lloyd Webber - who are playing together in public for the second time ever.
- Elaine page will be singing Memory
- Wayne Sleep and Ian Waite will be performing a new choreographed routine to Change Partners.
- Helena Bonham Carter will be introducing scenes from the film version of Sweeny Todd.
- Bonny Langford will be singing Tone Deaf
