Spice Girls in the Theatre?
December 7th, 2007 by Laura WestWith the Take That tour and “Never Forget” causing a stir in stadiums and theatres up and down the country I’m wondering how long it’ll be until there is a Spice Girl theatre production. With their comeback tour selling out and millions of screaming fans paying through the nose to catch a glimpse of the girls back in action - it’s only a matter of months before someone creates “Viva Forever - a theatre production featuring the Spice Girls’ No1 hits”.
Undoubtedly their rags to riches story has been a rocky one with many ups and downs and with such catchy songs as “Mama, Wannabe, Stop Right Now, Two Become One, Goodbye My Friend, Who Do You Think You Are and Headlines” - it would make for an excellent plot and an outstanding show.
So watch this space as I’ll be saying I told you so as soon as it happens!
