Star Studded Chicago Cast

It seems Duncan James, Bonny Langford and Brenda Edwards can’t get enough of the West End, these celebs are back in town and ready to take on their former roles.

Duncan James whipped the crowd into a frenzy as Billy Flynn, with his dazzling good looks and smooth voice he made many an audience member swoon. Teamed with Bonny Langford as Roxie Hart and Brenda Edwards as Mamma Morton - it should be a corker of a show and well worth a trip to the West End.

Here’s a clip of Duncan in action on GMTV - enjoy!

Spice Girls in the Theatre?

Friday, December 7th, 2007

With the Take That tour and “Never Forget” causing a stir in stadiums and theatres up and down the country I’m wondering how long it’ll be until there is a Spice Girl theatre production. With their comeback tour selling out and millions of screaming fans paying through the nose to catch a glimpse of the girls back in action - it’s only a matter of months before someone creates “Viva Forever - a theatre production featuring the Spice Girls’ No1 hits”.
Undoubtedly their rags to riches story has been a rocky one with many ups and downs and with such catchy songs as “Mama, Wannabe, Stop Right Now, Two Become One, Goodbye My Friend, Who Do You Think You Are and Headlines” - it would make for an excellent plot and an outstanding show.

So watch this space as I’ll be saying I told you so as soon as it happens!

One Way or Another Blondie has been booted out of the West End

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

Desperately Seeking Susan has shattered our heart of glass after announcing it’s closure only two weeks after it opened, due to poor ticket sales the producers made the tough decision to close this fantastic West End show. Roberta and Susan will be singing their last rendition of “Call Me” on the 15th of December leaving the Novello Theatre lonely this Christmas

If you were desperately seeking an incredible West End show - this was it, so pack away your 80’s shell suits and denim jackets - this fantastic 80’s show has been bundled up and given to the charity shop much like the clothes from that era. Fingers crossed in a few years time when the 80’s vintage fashion comes back around so does Desperately Seeking Susan - as this is one gem that should of been your vintage Chanel bag rather than tatty neon shell suit.

But for now the rent was high so they’re moving on !
