Lee Has Fallen Ill and Seamus Has Fallen Out
May 3rd, 2007 by Laura WestTragedy has stuck the Joseph house, our favorite Joseph (Lee) has fallen ill with a virus and has already had to miss training. He has tried all the old remedies such as inhaling steam, gargling with salt water and fizzy vitamins in order to get better for saturdays performance. His sheer determination to stay on is proof enough that he is worthy to go all the way, we are now voting for you more than ever!
Oh dear oh dear, Seamus you have really shown your true colours! His final performance of “Close Every Door To Me” was really something. I don’t know what he has trying to prove by signing so angrily, ripping the coat away from the other Josephs and singing the last lyric “I have been promised a SHOW of my own” instead of LAND.
Take a look for yourself to see how ridiculous he looks, below I have also added another eviction so you can see what it was supposed to be like.

Hi,
I think you are probably right about Seamus’ arrogance. I noticed the change of lyric but I began to wonder if this were in fact the truth?
His departure was surprising in the face of the comments of the panel and the quality or performance compared to some of the other muppets (like it or not he can do it).
I thought the “conspiracy theory” line was either embarrassment or a hint that he actually wanted out. The coat was his own fault because he “balled” his fists (idiot) so the sleeves snagged. The lyric, well, time will tell I guess.
The format is so obviously designed to allow ALW to make the overall selection no matter what the public does he can over-rule so it’s pointless getting too excited over what is, really, a 3 month advert.
Keep up the good blog!
