Gielgud Theatre gets a make-over
March 28th, 2007 by Laura WestCameron Mackintosh has decided to spruce up the Gielgud theatre. The idea is to recapture the original look of the theatre from 1907. The theatre already had new carpet and seats fitted in the run up the opening of Equus, starring Daniel Radcliffe Griffiths, but the new improvements will be to the outside of the theatre. The plans are to remove the existing signs on the outside of the theatre and extend the main canopy along Shaftesbury Avenue. Architects Renton Howard Wood Levin are now using early archive images of the nearby Queen’s Theatre to come up with a design for an impressive new canopy that will be unveiled at the end of June. Keep your eyes peeled for the new look…

Hi Paul,
We do indeed have a link back to the Show and Stay site - if you click on the left hand side of the banner (over the words Show and Stay or indeed the www.show-and-stay.co.uk) you will be taken through to the main site.
The majority of posts contain links directing you to the main site and you will also find another link, on the right hand side within the navigation bar beneath the header Our Main Site.
Hope this helps!
